Handmade Junk Journal, Bookmarks and Zines All In One

Recently over in The Creative Art Village we had a creative swap for Zines as well as a creative swap for handmade bookmarks. If you’ve never taken part in a creative swap, it’s a lot of fun! You make something and send it to a partner. They make something and send it to you! We do a lot of that in The Creative Art Village.

This past month, my swap partner was Melissa. So we understood the theme and both got to work.

Well, the swap that she made for me showed up the other day in the mail and let me tell you, these photos don’t do her artwork justice!

I am never not amazed at what my creative friend Melissa makes because she really has the best imagination I’ve ever seen! It’s fantastic to see just where her mind takes us, on a journey of whimsy and joy, filled with color, texture and such interesting perspectives! I truly enjoy everything she creates, painted, mixed media or junk and scrap journaling.
