A Little Art, a Little Autumn Magic: Visit Glimmerbug This Open Studios Weekend!
There’s something so lovely about an autumn drive through Harvard—the changing leaves, the winding country roads, and the chance to slow down and discover something special along the way. This weekend, I hope that drive brings you to Glimmerbug Handmade Art Studio!
I’m opening the doors for Bolton Harvard Open Studios on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, and I would love to welcome you into my cozy shop and creative space.
I’ve been busy making new pieces, and I’m excited to share them with you! You’ll find whimsical original art, colorful watercolors, handmade art journals, cheerful magnets, and cozy crocheted items. Whether you’re drawn to a painting for your home, a journal waiting to hold your own creative adventures, or a small handmade treasure that makes you smile, there will be plenty to browse.
It’s also a wonderful opportunity to get a happy head start on your holiday shopping. Handmade gifts have a special way of feeling personal and thoughtful. A little piece of art, a lovingly made journal, or a sweet stocking stuffer can be just the thing for someone on your list—and you’re welcome to find a treat for yourself, too!
While you’re here, you can also learn about and sign up for upcoming in-studio art classes. If you’ve been wishing for a little creative time, come chat with me about finding a class you’ll enjoy. Glimmerbug classes are welcoming, whimsical, and stress-free, with beginners warmly encouraged. You don’t need experience—just a little curiosity and a willingness to play.
Make a day of your visit and enjoy the lovely town of Harvard while you’re here. Explore other Open Studios stops, take in the autumn foliage, and enjoy the beautiful country roads that make this corner of Massachusetts so special. My shop and studio sit along winding Old Littleton Road, making the journey part of the fun.
