Slow Drawing and Mindful Mark Making is a gentle, 2-hour in-studio art class that meets regularly, designed to help you slow down, breathe, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making marks on paper. Using pens, pencils, markers and watercolors, we’ll explore easy, repetitive patterns and slow drawing exercises that feel more like “glorified doodling” than traditional art, with no pressure to perform or be perfect. You’ll be guided step-by-step through calming marks and simple patterns, with quiet pockets of drawing time that invite you to tune into the moment, soften your nervous system, and leave feeling more grounded, relaxed, and creatively nourished.
