Watercolor Workshop Wrap Up

Hey there!

Happy Friday! So so glad it’s heading into the weekend because I sure need a few days of less hustle and bustle and more time to get my house in order before the holidays. I have a bunch of Christmas cookie recipes I want to try this weekend!

Anyhow, I wanted to share with you the beautiful work that the ladies in the Watercolor Workshop completed on Tuesday evening. We had cookies and cocoa and loads of laughs (per usual) and spent our time together painting lovely and colorful holiday trees, in two very different styles! I am always in awe of the various styles that these artists have when they all work on the same project. Truly amazing how different the interpretations are, from shape and size to color and final details. It’s really fascinating! Look at these gorgeous and vibrant beauties!

While these lovely trees finished drying, we worked on the next project, which was hilarious! A tree full of quirky birds! Look at how adorable they are!! As we painted, we were all giggling at how funny these little birds are to make and all the facial expressions you can give them just by changing the location of eyes and beaks! I could totally do an entire series of these birds in various situations, they just crack me up!

As we wind down 2025, I’d love to thank all the artsy and creative folks who have joined me for our weekly watercolor sessions. What fun! We have such a great time chatting, laughing, snacking on treats and sharing stories while our paint brushes play around and the magic happens. I cannot wait for 2026 with you all!
