Slow Drawing Class and Watercolor Workshop

Yesterday was quite a busy day in the Glimmerbug Handmade Art studio with TWO classes hosted! It was fabulous!

First off, in the morning, we enjoyed our “Slow Drawing and Mindful Mark Making” class (including cake!) where our focus was circles of various thicknesses and then selected a 4 color theme to enhance the page. I snapped a few pics of some of the work that these ladies did and as always, I was blown away by their creativity! Check it out:

Aren’t they fabulous!? I love the colors that they selected for each page. We enjoy each class together where we complete one project after nibbling on some tasty cake before we get started. It’s a great way to start a Thursday! Cake and art! Definitely consider joining us for a future class!

Last night we had a lovely time painting watercolor “garden goodies.” Each of the ladies focused on various items we find in our gardens, such as peppers, tomatoes, broccoli and herbs. It was a wonderful and creative night filled with laughter, stories and great company as we painted our little garden goodies. Take a look at the spectacular pieces that were created:

It always amazes me how each artist has such a different interpretation of the project that we work on. It brings me such joy and happiness to see their creativity come to light and watch their artistry take off! Well done, lovelies!

If you’re in the market for stress-free watercolor classes, whether you’re a beginner or not, we’d love to have you join us! Check out our class schedule below and sign up!
