Scrap Paper Birdies on a Rainy Cloudy Cold Winter Day
Trying to get out of the house for a few hours while our realtor has an open house is never an easy task. 3 kids, 4 dogs and a partridge in a pear tree all have to be corralled and readied to vacate the house for a while.
It also means that I have to pack up all my art projects and supplies for the "clean slate" that needs to be in the house. No personalization at all!
Lately I've been creating these little birds against some watercolor skies and clouds, courtesy of Danielle Davidson's online workshop. I'm having a great time creating these little winged friends and have found myself becoming a bit of an addict when it comes to making them. I now happily have a drawer full of these little guys that are ready for the next project or painting.
I'm thinking these will also be adorable on a wall hanging or a greeting card. Maybe a cute little piece of art for my new studio!
