Exciting Announcement!

Posted on May 2, 2014 by Jill

OH MY! I’m SOOOOO EXCITED!!! I just returned from setting up my very first vendor booth at a local shop in my town, Cornerstones! Owned and operated by the fabulously helpful DJ, I was thrilled when space became available at her shop to set up some of my art pieces.

After thinking and thinking about this opportunity, I finally decided to just go for it and see what happens. So my handy little 2 year old helper and I went over today with boxes of paintings, jewelry, glasses, cards and birdhouses to set up the booth at the shop. I’m hoping that my art will be well received and hopefully I’ll be able to sell one or two things here and there. At first I was nervous when I started unpacking the boxes because it looked like there was going to be tons of extra space… and who wants to have a sparse looking vendor booth (unless, you sell everything… which would be incredible!). Joey helped me unpack everything… except the glass items. And we worked together to set up each of the pieces in a cohesive fashion that would hopefully attract people to look and see what I’ve got to offer.

Mr. Owl and Queenie are front and center on the second shelf, hoping to find a home that loves them as much as I do!

It’s funny to stand back and look at all my items and realize just how much fun I had making each piece. And there sure is a lot of color and vibrancy to this booth, which to me, makes it eye-catching!

If you’re in the area sometime, pay a visit and check out all of the lovely items that Cornerstones has to offer in Lunenburg, Massachusetts. The shop is open weekdays from 10-5 and Sundays from 12-5.

How exciting! Your display looks great – all those bright fun colors…it just draws you in! Maybe you’ll get a lot of “Mother’s Day” shoppers… :)
Good luck with your new endeavor!

Thanks Jackie! I’m interested to see what happens and if anyone buys anything. I’ve always wanted to do something like this and I think this is the perfect “starting” point. Thanks for your encouragement!
