“Around the Neighborhood” Watercolor Town

Thursday night was our Whimsical Watercolor 3 art class and it was fabulous as always! We always start our class with a look at what we did last week and how we finished it up for homework. And I’m always blown away!

This project was a take on an accordion folded card or concertina booklet. We sketched out our little buildings, cut their roof lines out carefully and then began using our watercolors, pens, colored pencils and other supplies to add personality.

Truth: I’m still working on mine so it’s not photo ready yet. But you’ll see by the photo gallery above just how spectacular this project turned out! And it’s double sided! I’m always so impressed with how these projects morph into such a creative masterpiece. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. And the creativity and imagination on these buildings knocks my socks off! Who knew I had my own little chocolate shop!!!
